It's been a long week. Esp with my accounting test I just took.

My sister's wedding was this past weekend. I've been doing some photo work for her and trying to get that straightened out. I still have to edit my pics, but they will be up on my Flickr or Picasa sometime soon. Got some work to do for Garth coming up. Got a computer move for the weekend, so that will be a bit of money in my pocket.

Anyways the wedding was fun. I was an usher for the ceremony and just a person at the reception. Stephanie was my plus one :). She looked pretty in her purple dress. There will be a pic up sometime of us together, me in my tux and her in her dress. At rehearsal dinner, there was a lot of food. It was good though. Only a bit slow for some reason. Oh well. There were a lot of white people there. Lol. Eric's family is cool though.

I am randomly ranting now. I am waiting for econ class to begin. My battery life on my laptop sucks so I won't have much time left. It went from 100 to 52% in a few minutes. Ugh.

Well we shall see when the next time I update is. Probably when I upload pictures.

NOVA

I headed up to northern Virginia yesterday with the fam. Our main intent was to go to the temple and pray and such. So we left around 10 something I believe. Got up there and ate lunch at Fortune. Mmmm dim sum. It was pretty good. After that we headed to the temple. There was a huge tour group there so it was pretty packed, but they were leaving when we got there. We did our thing there and then headed to Eden Center. We bought some bakery goods and sandwiches and soy bean drinks. Afterward, my brother wanted to go to this Korean bakery and he got a few things and so did my mom. Post bakery times, we went to Ikea. We wanted to look for a tv stand for the new tv going in the kitchen, but we left with chair cushions, plates, a lamp, a tie holder, a napkin holder, and other miscellaneous items. Damn you impulse buying haha. I saw a few things that I wanted, but wouldn't get especially since the stuff in my room is fairly new still. Well after that I got home and relaxed for a bit.

After relaxing, I headed over to Matt's house. It was awkward because I was the only one in his living room at the moment. Davor and Kev eventually came over and we watched Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay. They really liked it. Scott joined in like mid movie and Matt came downstairs like 30 minutes after we finished the movie. I left around 1:30 and passed out when I got home.

Lake Anna

Went to Lake Anna again with Stephanie. It was.......quite and adventure. Well I got to her house around 9:20 perhaps and we drove to her dad's lake house. Got there and talked to her grandma and aunts for a bit. Then her dad took us and Rylan on the boat to do some water sports. Rylan did knee boarding. He did his new trick. He learned to do a 360. Well after him, I went and tried wake boarding. The first time I fell off completely. Second time, I almost got up. Third time, still a no go. Well after the third time, the boat started drifting to the rocks. Steph's dad tried to drive away, but the rope got caught. So now engineless and vulnerable to crashing, I swim like 20 feet to the boat before it started drifting and help push it away from the rocks. Her dad jumped in and also helped. This went on for like a good 15-20 minutes before Rylan and Stephanie flagged down help, who at first thought they were just waving. We got towed to a small sandy island and then from there, anchored and Stephanie and her dad went to work on untangling the rope. It was funny that the boat that towed us had to leave behind one of their crew(?) I guess you would say because they started towing us while he was still in the water. Anyways, they got one engine free by unwrapping and got a knife from a boat that also anchored at the island. Eventually, we got back to the dock and put the boat on the trailer and went back to the house. Her dad got the rest of the rope out and then Stephanie tended to my wounds. She got hurt a bit, but she's a tough cookies. She can handle it :P.

Ooph. It was tiring. My forearms are shot now. I can't even open a safety pin with my middle finger and thumb. Blahhhhhh. Well, it was fun though. I want to try to wake board again and see if I get up and keep balanced. Until then, I will sit in my office chair and design websites and try to take photos sometimes.

Update: Though of a good analogy for my hands! My hands are like when you are super tired or laughing so hard that when you try and squeeze something, but you can't.

Update for July 23

I still don't update as often as I want to. Oh well. Anyways, nothing new has been going on. Just summer school. Blahhhhhh. On the other hand, I am working with 127tech and getting paiddd. woot. Also, I am on call all week for IT stuff. I will also be meeting with my boss next week to come up with ideas to redesign the company's website. I have an idea for a concept, but we will see what he wants. I'll post a mock up of VSA's site i came up with. I'll get to that after I finish with my sister's website for her wedding. Ahhhhhhhh lots of stuff to do. Good thing class is almost over. Anyways, life in short has been good to me recently :)

Holiday Weekend

It was a pretty eventful holiday week. My second cousins from Norway came to town on Wednesday night and I've been hanging out with them for a bit. On the third I went with Stephanie and her fam to the Genworth Financial Independence Day celebration. Got some photos from that I am going to post. It was pretty fun. Afterward we went back to my place and ate and then picked up her van from DSW.

The fourth started out pretty dull. At around 9:30 I went to Matt's house and just had a good time with the crowd. I should hang out with them more. I feel like I've become distant from them. So I will do that sometime. They cooked out and had some drinks. Later on fireworks but I had left by then. Got home around 1 and sat around on the web. Then at like 2 I heard a loud bang and people crowding around my dad's van. I thought someone was breaking in to it so I woke the rents up. It happened to be just a drunk punching the mail box and kicking over the recycle bin. Meh and now there are neighbors complaining about the new people that moved in.

Today I went to Short Pump Mall and bought me a bright yellow belt! Yeah!

Engrish

Quite the terrible subject I am taking right now. Blah. I mean accounting was pretty easy. So was University 111 and 112 at VCU. I mean when we workshoppped papers, we did not need a final copy. In this class at Sarge, we do need a final. Blah. I am currently in the library doing it now. Its been about three hours-ish of research and typing. I kinda zone out for a bit and forget what I am writing. I am also running out of things to say. Whatevs. I'll be done soon. I am also hungry.

Anyways, yesterday I went to my grandmother's 84th birthday. I was debating bringing my camera, but I wasn't really in the mood. Perhaps another time. I should take some pics sometime though. Not quite sure of what and when and where though.

My second cousin from Norway is in the States now. Going to get her someday so she can visit here. She's a pretty cool cat.

July 4th is coming up. I am gonna go to the Genworth Financial thing again this year and see whats going on there. I'll definitely take pictures there. Fireworks, a band, and activities. It will be fun. Going to go with Stephanie and her mother. I asked what Davor was up to then, but he is working and such. Thursday night is Amber's 80's party. Perhaps I will go to that after the Genworth thing. Probably will. More pictures! YEAH! Haha. Good 80's themed portraits.

Anyways I am going to go back to my paper. I just needed something to take my mind off the paper for a bit.

Bourgeoisie

So I like the band The Submarines now. You, Me, and the Bourgeoisie is a pretty good song.

I don't have to much to update most of the time. Tis a shame. I just don't have too much time to go out and take pics and such. Maybe I'll snap a few tomorrow as I am doing errands.

You know what I find difficult? Trying to just put one space in between my punctuation and my next sentence. It is apparently more accepted to do that now.

This is kinda just like a random rant. Mehhhh haha. I am going to go format my desktop now. Oh and this whole paragraph pretty much had double spaces after each period. :)

OK GO!

So I went to the Fairfax County Fair on Friday. It was a lot of fun. A lot of driving, but a lot of fun :). Stephanie drove and we met up with her sister at her sister's house. Ate some stuff before the fair and headed off into the hell traffic. Took a shuttle from Fair Oaks Mall to the Fairfax Government Center and went to the fair! Yay! We first rode the Crazy Mouse. It was hilarious because Stephanie's sister was having difficulties on the turns and the seats were chaffing her and she kept on screaming out stuff. Next we rode some twirly spinny upside downy thing haha. Did a few fun houses, bumper cars, boat ride thing that swings in a pendulum, the laser "spectacular" in the Government Center, and much more. Ok Go was performing that night so Stephanie and I watched them as her sister wandered about the fair. There were a lot of people that looked like they were freshmen in high school or something. It was gross. Well after a while, we were gross and tired from the heat so we just ate funnel cake, sausages, and fried Oreos. I never had a fried Oreo before. It was interesting I have to say, but it was good.

Yay I'm Asian!

So in case you haven't seen, my doppleganger is on tv! I've heard it a million times! Stephanie freaked out when she saw me on tv. More like ROFL'ed and LOL'ed. Then over time, I kept getting facebook comments, phone calls, and texts about me being on tv. It was exciting lol.


Here's the book I want to get. Its a pretty cool nifty little guide that teaches you Japanese DIY tricks. Such as to cure a runny nose, with green onions! I want it :)

Well anyways, there was this time at Wal Mart yesterday when I was standing in line waiting to pay. There was this Asian lady and her daughter in front of me and Stephanie. They kept looking back at us and muttering something in a different language. Well I thought it was Viet, but it turns out it wasn't. I heard them say, "I think he's Chinese" in Cantonese. I was like whaa? are they talking about me? So they turned around and I was waving and saying helloo. Then we started speaking in Chinese to one another and asked me if Stephanie was my friend, where I was born, how long they have been in America, and how good my Chinese is for being and ABC.

Lazy(ish) Sunday

Another typical Sunday for me. For the most part it was typical. I woke up around noon. It felt good to do that. Took a shower and ate some Vietnamese food for lunch. From there I contemplated what to do. I made a to do list and the majority of it was study. I did my economics homework two days in advance. And studied some PHP two days in advance. I know, I know, what is this world coming to. I also studied some Excel for my exam on Thursday. That will be plenty easy. So will the Word exam I have Wednesday. They psych exam on Wednesday and the econ exam on Thursday, I hope I get an A. Well anyways, I ate dinner after a really long nap from boredom. Went back into my room and my brother knocked at my door with the cd's that came with his laptop (I need a driver to finish repairing it for my parents to use) and another laptop for me to fix. This like the 5th laptop of his I've had to fix. At least seven laptops in total I've fixed. Why are computers my thing? Heh... Anyways I'll work on those tomorrow or something. Now I am just playing around with the Corporate Giants website for my e-business class. I have ideas for my next assignment.

I need a job. I am becoming poor! Anybody need an IT/Graphic Designer/Web Designer/Photographer? :)

I haven't updated some of the stuff recently. Been kinda busy. Today I am pretty bored. Ready to just sleep for the rest of the day, but I need to do homework. AHHHHHH

I haven't posted in a while. Been a bit busy and a bit lazy. You know how that goes I bet. Anyways I am home alone at the moment. Some random highlights since I last posted:
Feb. 16: Went to Valentine's dinner with Stephanie at Pasta Luna and had our Valentine's day stuff at her place
Feb. 16: Date auction for VSA. It was pretty fun. Had to leave early though.
Feb 17-22: School School School
Yesterday: Went to CNU with Sam, Timmy, and Kara to visit Kevin. We went to some huge park and went to see Be Kind Rewind. It was an ok movie. Wait for it to come on DVD I say. Went to a restaurant called Asian Grill and had some mongolian beef. I was still hungry so I ate the left overs of Kara's, Sam's, and Timmy's dishes. Still a bit hungry afterwards, but satisfied. Afterwards headed back to CNU to drop Kevin off and then back to Richmond. Got home and Stephanie came over til 2 in the morning and I passed out afterwards.
Today: Woke up late for once and ate wonton. Showered and now I am here. woo!

Oh yeah, I was also kicked off Ad-Sense because I posed as a threat to the advertisers lol

Boring-some Day

Today lacked excitement. E-bus was gay like usual and Econ was confusing, but easy as usual. I did go to vote today though! I was a good 50 years younger than everybody in the room lol. Afterwards, caught up with Stephanie and her dead car Peter. I tried to see what was wrong, but couldn't figure it out. We left there and went to the bank. Afterwards, went to IHOP for free pancakes :). As we were leaving, Kevin spotted us and I talked to him for a little bit. Well after that we went to DSW to see if Stephanie could find a ride to work tomorrow, but no such luck. Karl was working and he was pretty cool. Went back to Stephanie's place to just chill, but then I called my dad to see if he could figure out what was wrong with her car and it just so happened that the battery was just too weak to start the engine. I mean I could have jumped the car if I knew, but I didn't expect the battery since all the electronic stuff was working in the car. Whatevssssss. My dad gets it working and then Steph and I go get gas at Wawas. Went back to her place again afterwards and I leaver around 9ish and eat dinner at home. I posted on this blog and now I am here. I am not doing math homework as I should be, but oh well.

So I decided my last template was a little too boring. I am still deciding on a background, but til then this is what it is going to look like.

Well anyways lets talk about my day. What a bad morning it was. I barely got any sleep at all. I was so dead. I decided what I was going to get Steph on V-Day at 2:30 in the morning. Yes yes exciting I know. Woke up at around 6:30 to get ready for school and got there a little late, but nothing too bad. My whole English class was there for once though! It was insane! All NINE of us were there, but the class itself was whack anyways. I hate the class really. Afterwards I went to the Commons to start designing this layout here you see and hung out with Katrina, Luda, and Chandra. Had class at 12 and fell asleep a few times in there. Luda's cellphone's vibrate is hella loud. It vibrated, then mine started to vibrate so it made such a commotion and I was like merh and Luda was freaking out. After class I went to my car and went to the bank, then went home for a bit before I went to Stephanie's house. I beat her to her house some how when she told me to leave 5 minutes after her but I really left like 8 or 10 minutes after. She was at the mall with Nikki for the day. So I was at her house til around 7ish. Fell asleep twice there due to the lack of sleep, but so did she. After that I went to get gas at Wawa's and then went home to get some din. That leads me to here and thats all I am going to say in this post.

The Day is Going By

At Davor's house at the moment. Was doing my online class, but that didn't work out too well. Did about 6 pages of reading haha. Going to head over to Carytown soon. So that will be fun. Any who, catch you people later.

New Template

Woo I got my new template working. It took about 5 and a half hours of learning what I have to code, design, and layout. Then came troubleshooting and then finalizing it. There will prob be some subtle changes here n there or maybe a major one now that I know what I have to do to get this working. 289 lines of blog code, HTML, and CSS. its fun.....well kinda but I'm nerdy like that. Anyways I'll update later about my day and whatever else I can think of.

Year of the Rat

*Yawn* I've spent like the last 3 hours trying to make a layout for my blog. When I decide to test it, it doesn't work at all. Whatevsssss. Anyways today was pretty good. Woke up to go to E-Business. That class isn't too bad really. I like it, but the stuff we do is kind of boring at the moment. I know how to do it all so I don't pay attention to her. Afterwards, I went to the Commons to study Economics. Had a test in that class. I think I did well, but I am not sure.

This is where the day starts to get better. I went to Stephanie's place! :) We don't stay there long though. I decide where to eat because we are both hungry. We went to Pizza Hut Italian Bistro. Nikki Mari was working so we got free drinks. We spent such a long time there. It was fun. Three medium pizzas is a lot of pizza haha. I ate mine, she ate half of hers, and we have a whole pizza and a half left over to eat later. Mmmmm. Afterwards we went back to her place and just chilled for a bit til I had to go home to eat din. She also showed me a person that looks like me with longer hair. I dunno really, what do you think?

At this point, I was not that hungry because I had just ate a medium pizza and a Mountain Dew. I had me a bowl of rice and some fried shrimps. New Year stuff for me house pretty much. Year of the Rat. Year of my brother's zodiac. After din I watched LOST. Which is good like almost all the time. Afterwards I continued coding this blog, which ended in failure, but I know what to do now. So anyways thats my day.

First post. the old blog I figured was not quite me anymore. So this new one will be me.
